Springer Magrath to
relocate to Minnesota
Springer Magrath, a leading
manufacturer and distributor of stock prods and veterinary supplies, announces
that it will be relocating its headquarters from McCook, Nebraska to Glencoe,
Minnesota later this month.
Springer Magrath was purchased by
Frandsen Corporation of North Branch, Minnesota in 2007. Over the years
daily operations continued in McCook successfully as a result of the dedication
and efforts of the employees there. Because it has become increasingly
difficult to maintain operations from such a long distance, Frandsen Corporation
made the difficult decision to move the company to Minnesota.
"We value the connections we made
in McCook and regret the necessity to move due to distance," said Springer
Magrath President Dan Ferrise, "Springer Magrath has been part of the McCook
community for over 40 years, so this decision was extremely difficult to
make."
Springer Magrath serves a variety
of niches within the farm and agricultural markets and distributes products both
domestically and internationally. Founded in 1969 by Dr. Magrath, a
veterinarian, and purchased by Marlin Springer, Springer Magrath has a strong
history of developing and offering products that help solve problems in handling
and caring for farm animals.
