The Quality Assurance Inspector for production performs routine testing on quality of in-process or finished goods according to Company standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. This person also collects samples and performs assigned inspection tasks using various types of equipment. You will also ensure documentation is complete and accurate. In addition, you will approve or reject in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; and communicating to production staff, Press Operators, and all other personnel regarding quality issues.
Available Hours:
- 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm ($16.00/hour)
***External candidates receive a $500 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance requirements).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional drawings.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must be able to read and interpret a blue print drawing correctly a blueprint drawing.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong leadership skills
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
- Use of depth perception, close vision, and color vision are all continuously required.
- Interact with all levels of leadership and supervisory staff
- A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
